The Waiting Game
Good things come for those who wait.
November is squaring up to be a month of waiting.
I have submitted my last assessment for my Masters of Teaching--a secondary teacher I will be! I now wait for the assessment results and, gods willing, my invitation to graduation. This will take an indeterminant amount of weeks.
In order to become a teacher, I require a VIT registration. This will take six weeks (and let's ignore the fact it cost me $$$s, paperwork takes time).
In order to work as a teacher, I have been applying across the state to jobs I am qualified for as according to my Masters degree. I have not heard back from a single one. Despite the state supposedly crying out for teachers desperately, organisations take time to respond to the necessary applications.
My baby boy, Hugo, a 3-year-old Bull Arab Cross, has recently torn his ACL. He requires surgery, but for my vet to organise that appointment, they need to contact a travelling surgeon (while I shop around for other locations). That will take at least a month.
The final scholarship payment of this year will go entirely to Christmas-related expenses. That comes in, supposedly, at the end of November.
So, I am broke, and I am waiting on others to finish waiting on others to get back to me waiting on them.
In the meantime...
I'm not sure what to do with my website. As I've shifted away from independent creative endeavours, my blog is just lingering. There's not a whole lot left for it--my last post was about Captain America: Brave New World.
Since I have free time until the end of the year, my plan will be to spend it blogging on my (and my brother's) experience reliving our childhood games through emulation on the PS3. Look out for that, I guess.
